During the training, various manufacturing methods and production processes can be developed. Goal-oriented work challenges us to identify areas for improvement and gives us the energy to implement them, Petri explains. 

Waste, energy savings, labor shortages?

The training focuses on the issues that are most important to each customer. Sometimes it may be the operation of a single device, sometimes energy savings in an entire process. And in the galley, almost everything is connected to everything else.

– When the capacities of the equipment are used more sensibly and diversely, processes become more efficient, food quality improves, waste is reduced, water and energy are saved, and at the same time, staff time is freed up, Petri explains.

Petri emphasizes that galley appliances are, by nature, very durable. That is why it is worth taking good care of them and learning how to make full use of their advanced, intelligent functions. 

He urges customers to get in touch if training could be useful – for example, when there is a change in staff.

– People often think that training takes time away from everyday work. But the savings are surprisingly many times greater, as shared observations speed up the process and improve the quality of the food.
